Technical information
To get sharp, photo-quality prints, images should be sized at 300 Pixels Per Inch (DPI). The table below breaks down the ideal pixel dimensions for standard print sizes from 4 x 6″ up to 24 x 36″.
If your photo (digital image) is smaller than the dimensions needed for your desired Print size, we can, in most cases, enhance your image by 1 to 2 sizes up and maintain a good quality print. This is particularly relevant to photos taken with smartphones that looked great on the phone screen, but appear soft or pixelated when printed.
If your photo is a printed picture, we can have more leeway when extracting the find details to produce larger prints without compromise.
In both cases where the princess is larger than the photos dimensions, we may have to access an additional charge for the extra work needed to optimize your photo to match the desired print size. Please contact us before you place your order online.
